[ARCHIVED] Rainy Halloween keeps Fill Station Closed Today

Mother nature played a trick by raining on the parade of hundreds of children scouting the neighborhoods for treats last night. Unfortunately this means today ISD's Residential Recycled Water Fill Station will need to remain closed for one more day.

Recycled Water Fill Stations are mandated by the regional water boards to close on days when the ground and streets are wet from heavy rains and then 24-hours following the rain. This gives the streets and ground a chance to dry so that there isn't a lot of run-off of recycled water.

It is expected that ISD will stay open throughout the winter months, but like today close on rainy days. Check back on this site before coming down for free recycled water to see if the Fill Station will be open.
