ISD’s Residential Recycled Water Fill Station is closed Wednesday due to this week’s rain. Since the weather has been cold and often wet, we've decided to reduce hours to Saturdays until the weather warms.
Recycled Water Fill Stations are mandated by the regional water boards to close on days when the ground and streets are wet from heavy rains and then 24-hours following the rain. This gives the streets and the ground a chance to dry so that there isn't a lot of run-off of recycled water.
It is expected that ISD will stay open throughout the winter months, but like today close on rainy days. Check back on this site before coming down for free recycled water to see if the Fill Station will be open.
Winter hours for ISD’s Residential Recycled Water Fill Station are now limited to Saturdays 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., unless there is rain.
