This recognition by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) is the direct result of the Ironhouse Sanitary District Board of Directors and their commitment to outstanding fiscal policy and transparency.  The Board has adopted Purchasing and Procurement policies that conform to governmental accounting standards and make certain the best use of public funds. The District has developed long term financial planning for sewer infrastructure and facility improvements.  Board policies ensure public transparency and this Comprehensive Annual Financial Report provides our customers with a financial overview of Ironhouse Sanitary District.
